Craig is Building a Destination Wheel Park.
A community-driven space where Craig's youth ride, connect, and belong - right here in Northwest Colorado. This isn't just a skatepark. It's infrastructure. It's a cultural hub, a safe place for kids to grow, and a long-overdue investment in the people who call this place home.
We're building a destination wheel park — a modern, professionally designed space for skateboards, bikes, scooters, and all wheels. Built for all ages. All skill levels. Free to use.
This project creates:
-
A safe, inclusive space for Craig's kids to grow and stay active
-
A gathering place for families across Moffat County
-
A regional attraction that brings new energy, and new visitors, to Craig
This is how communities invest in their future.
More Than a Skatepark.

The Community has wanted this for decades.
For years, Craig's young people have had limited options outside traditional team sports. The old skatepark is gone. There's nowhere safe to ride. Kids are driving to Hayden, Steamboat, and Grand Junction just to find smooth pavement.
The Craig Skatepark Alliance is a community-led movement built by residents who know this town is worth investing in — and so are its people.
